The main topics are Genetics of Epilepsy; Diagnostic Issues; Surgical Treatment of Epilepsy; Epilepsy Co-morbidities, Social Issues and Regional Issues in Epilepsy. We will also be having a parallel poster session on the second day of the meeting. The topics and speakers have been selected to ensure a high academic standard and clinical relevance.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the First North American Regional Caribbean Congress on Epilepsy.
This Congress hosted by The North American Regional (NAR) Commission of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE), representing the American Epilepsy Society (AES), the Canadian League Against Epilepsy (CLAE) and the Jamaican League Against Epilepsy (JLAE), will be held on May 30-31, 2008 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Congress, to be held annually, will identify the needs of the English-speaking Caribbean as well as facilitate the development of strategies for the improvement of epilepsy services throughout the North American Region and Latin America.
